A more limited selection of shrink-wrapped Anytime Upgrade packages will be available in retail stores worldwide at similar pricing. These upgrade packs are limited to the following scenarios: Starter or Home Basic to Home Premium; Home Premium to Professional; and Home Premium to Ultimate.

Microsoft released an emergency patch on Tuesday to protect Internet Explorer users from a hole in technology used to build ActiveX controls and other web application components that has been targeted in attacks.
A critical patch for all versions of IE will protect consumers, while a security update for Visual Studio will help developers fix the controls and components they built that could be affected.

Brands are wonderful assets when they capture the essence of a product, service, or event succinctly, meaningfully, and with endurance over time. Consumer product companies have brand guardians to protect those conceptual assets. But when branding becomes a fad, it can reduce communication.
Accordingly, our brains just aren’t wired to focus intently on more than one thing at a time, and that means stressed managers and employees could be making easily preventable mistakes. Ultimately, that’s a waste of everyone’s time.
But it’s hard for employees to focus when companies are shrinking their workforces and forcing everyone to take on more duties. Yet, is right that having employees tackle many tasks at once is actually counterproductive, managers should devote more time to helping them tune out extraneous digital noise in order to pay closer attention, in sequence, to the tasks at hand.
802.11n standard will be finalized by September, according to the chairman of the IEEE 802.15 working group on Personal Area Networks. Wireless N routers will keep working like always but they’ve run out of letters to stick onto 802.11 for new wireless standards, so they’ll be confusingly called things like 802.11ac.
